Dark and Light Mode
CabX
CabX was designed in collaboration with the taxi community and urban transport experts, with a focus on ease of use and regulatory compliance. The goal of the project was to offer a flexible, reliable, and legal digital taximeter that works on a mobile device without the need for additional hardware.
Traditional taximeters are often expensive, complex to use, and limited in terms of functionality and flexibility. Many drivers lack the ability to quickly adjust pricing or easily issue receipts. The aim was to create a mobile app that eliminates the need for a physical device and enables drivers to work professionally, legally, and simply.
With the development of the CabX app, taxi drivers now have everything they need — in the palm of their hand. The app allows entry of custom pricing (per kilometer, per minute, starting fee, etc.), automatic fare calculation based on a given route, route creation with map display, and PDF invoice generation ready for email or printing. It also offers ride history and earnings statistics, giving drivers full control over their business.
CabX represents a solution that digitizes the taxi service, making it easier to use, more accessible, and more transparent. By using the app, there is no longer a need for a traditional hardware taximeter, without compromising on quality or legality — all in line with modern market and legal standards.
What we built
Dark and Light Mode
The app is visually optimized for both dark and light themes, ensuring a comfortable user experience in all lighting conditions.
Automatic Fare Calculation
Calculates the fare based on a predefined pricing list and selected route, with a clear map display.
Invoicing
After the ride ends, the invoice can be printed directly in the vehicle or sent to the passenger's email address.
Ride History
Displays a daily summary of all completed rides and their respective amounts, providing clear insight into driver activity.
