ZadarCity
ZadarCity is a modern mobile app for public transport developed for the citizens and visitors of the City of Zadar, with the goal of digitizing and improving the use of public transport and parking services. The app enables easy purchase of bus and parking tickets, real-time public transport tracking, and daily route planning — all within reach, via a mobile device.

The City of Zadar is one of the most technologically advanced Croatian cities when it comes to digital citizen services. As part of its “Zadar City” initiative, and in collaboration with partners, a system was developed to modernize everyday processes and make life easier for both residents and tourists through a unified mobile application.
Before the app was developed, users faced challenges such as lack of information on bus arrivals, difficult ticket purchasing, absence of a centralized traffic updates system, and no structured view of parking availability. The goal was to integrate all city transportation and parking services into one simple, functional solution accessible to everyone.
With the development of the Zadar City app, all previous system issues were successfully resolved. The app allows users to purchase bus and parking tickets directly from their mobile devices, view timetables, and track buses in real time. Users receive reminders for upcoming bus arrivals and notifications about delays or route changes, ensuring timely and accurate transport information.
The app enables users to view available parking spaces on the map in real time and to easily pay for services using the CityCard, which is digitally stored in the app. This greatly simplifies daily city mobility, saves time, reduces stress, and makes the city more accessible, efficient, and pleasant to live in or visit.
What we built
Wallet
Consolidates all purchased transport and parking tickets, shows the current account balance, and allows easy top-ups. Also provides access to timetables for better travel planning.
Parking Ticket
Quick and easy parking payment by entering or selecting an existing license plate, choosing a zone, and paying with a single tap. The process is fast, convenient, and fully digital.
Schedule
Displays bus schedules in real time and allows tracking buses on the map, ensuring accurate and timely public transport information.
Pass Purchase
Buy various types of passes, including employee, student, pupil, senior, and subsidized passes.
Ticket Purchase
Simple purchase of route-based or time-based bus tickets for one or multiple passengers.
